Great-grandmother dies in Mira Loma crash

Terrance Merriam Essex, 54, of the 14500 b lock of Merriam Road, Dobbins, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 26 on Marysville Road for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.
