U.S. pop singer Whitney Houston has filed for divorce from rapper husband Bobby Brown, People magazine reports.

Houston submitted the papers in southern California, one month after filing for separation from Brown after 14 years of marriage. In the separation papers, Houston, 43, asked for custody of the couple’s 13-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and that Brown, 37, be allowed visitation rights.
